4/23/2009 - THE LEGEND of Hamster on a piano and pop corn

So let's get this straight... if you can videotape a hamster being extremely lazy, you can get over 5 million views on YouTube. I'm sure that if I was to videotape myself being that lazy, I'd be lucky to get 100 views. It's just not fair:

10/7/2008 - Cute Puppy

Because of some early childhood "incidents", I don't really have an affection for dogs. But if every dog was like this one, I might reconsider:

And I'd find a way to put diapers on them.

9/28/2008 - Ninja cat comes closer while not moving!

Here's a very popular video making the rounds right now, and for good reason... you've probably watched an episode of Scooby-Doo where Shaggy and Scooby are walking along, minding their own business while a ghost or monster stalks them from behind. However, when they look behind them, the monster pauses and becomes part of the scenery. They continue on their way, but can sense that there is someone or something stalking them, and they look behind again, only to see that the monster has inched closer, but still part of the scenery. I can't tell exactly which episode this is, but I'm sure it has happened more than once, and in other cartoons. Well, this scenario has been recreated so perfectly in this video starring a cat:

8/4/2008 - MIT Bunny Letter Opener

I don't have a pet, but if I did, I would definitely train it to do menial tasks like this:

5/31/2008 - Elephant Paints Self Portrait

Elephants seem to make fascinating YouTube videos. I've featured two of them myself... one of them showing a Mythbusters episode proving that elephants are afraid of mice, and another one showing an elephant enjoying another elephant's, um, colon. It's hard to believe from the previous videos (especially the latter) that elephants can be smart creatures of nature. This video goes a long way to show that a lot of training can go a long way:

4/26/2008 - monkey smells finger

So we are supposed to be 95% similar to chimpanzees according to our DNA. So after watching this video, I'm not sure who is copying who:

3/16/2008 - Elephant Eats Poop

Oh dear... um, here's another YouTube Moment caught on video:

Man, look at that elephant go to town on that other elephant. I would have said that it was some kind of mating routine until I saw what it did at the end of the video. Ugh! How on Earth is that a "natural" act? Yeah, there are dung beetles and flies are attracted to feces, but this is from another animal of the same species! I gotta say this... the food at the zoo must be pretty bad if they have to resort to this.

10/20/2007 - Animal Videos (2 videos)

Normally, I'm not into animal videos, but these two fascinate me for some reason. I'm convinced that a lot of the more popular animal videos are ones where the animal featured is acting human somehow. It's as if we are amused by how a lower species can take on our characteristics or we see something in that animal that's recognizable of our own nature. Take this video for instance:

Here we have mama panda minding her own business, chewing on her food, probably daydreaming about something... and then, out of the blue, the SNEEZE FROM HELL comes out of her little baby, and it's like... DAMN.

This second video is amusing as well. Mac OS X has some pretty neat animations, but one of the most hypnotic ones is the Front Row animation which you can control using the wireless remote. Seriously, you can just turn that animation on and off for hours and still not get tired of it. Well, the cat owned by this Mac user is hypnotized as well:

8/17/2007 - Battle at Kruger

The lions, the buffalo, the crocodile... oh my!
